The controller for the processing described here is the site's publisher, Santinu Comiti, sole proprietor (entrepreneur individuel under French law), reachable at santinu.comiti@gmail.com or contact@clippingatlas.com. This page describes what Clipping Atlas actually collects — nothing more.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and, if you set one, a username. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent by email — we store no passwords.
- Account preferences: your favorite campaigns and your alert channels (niches, content types, followed networks), to provide the service.
- Pro subscription: payments are processed by Stripe; your card details never touch our servers and we store none of them. We only keep your subscription status.
- Newsletter: the email address you provide is used solely to send the newsletter, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Cookies
By default the site sets only one strictly necessary cookie, ca_session (httpOnly), for your session. If you accept audience analytics, a ca_consent preference cookie remembers your choice and PostHog sets its own measurement cookies. No advertising cookies, no data resale.
Who this data is shared with
- Stripe — payment processing for the Pro subscription.
- Resend — the provider that delivers transactional emails (login codes, alerts).
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
Your data is never sold and never used for advertising profiling.
Retention
Account data is kept for as long as the account exists and deleted when it is closed. Login codes expire after 10 minutes.
Data from third-party platforms
Clipping Atlas lists clipping campaigns collected automatically from publicly accessible pages of the third-party platforms referenced on the site (title, brand, description, thumbnail, amounts). This information may include public names or handles of brands or creators, some of whom are natural persons.
This processing relies on our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): informing the clipping market by aggregating data already made public by those platforms. Campaign data is kept for the campaign's lifecycle on its original platform, then as aggregated history for statistical purposes (benchmarks).
If any of this data concerns you, you can at any time request information, object to the processing or ask for erasure (art. 14, 17 and 21 GDPR) by simply emailing santinu.comiti@gmail.com.
Your rights
You can request access to, rectification or deletion of your data, or object to a processing, by writing to contact@clippingatlas.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
